No Ceilings Preview
On October 31st (Halloween) Lil’ Wayne will be releasing his long awaited mixtape No Ceilings. This album will feature no other artists, no autone and no rock, it will only be Weezy at his best rapping over other peoples beats… and killing it as usual. Mitchell Destroys Toews
Last night during the Vancouver Canuck/Chicago Blackhawks game Willie Mitchell absolutely destroyed Jonathan Toews with a monster open ice hit. Be sure to watch the full video for the replay and watch Toews fall over after the hit. This also proved to be a huge turning point in the game as the Canucks scored two goals after this to win the game.

RIM has officially announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700 – the ultimate traditional BlackBerry to date. With more memory, a better camera and the new optical trackpad, the 9700 really does pack more punch into a smaller form factor than the original Bold 9000. It’s visually stunning and the new features make me angry that I just bought the Bold 9000 earlier this month!! Oh well maybe I’ll just wait for Bold 3! Carnage DLC
Carnage will be coming to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 very soon. I have never played this game, but once this hits I may have to pick it up. It was announced that the character will be available as DLC. No word whether or not it will be free or for a price, but most likely the latter. There is also word that Dr. Octopus will be another character addition to the game.
This is probably my favourite comic book villain, so stoked they decided to make him playable. Also, if the next Spider-Man films don’t have him as the main bad guy, Hollywood are a bigger bunch of #$&#-tards than I thought.
Heroes Lesbian Kiss
I don’t watch Heroes. And I also think Hayden Panettiere is pretty overrated in terms of hotness. But… The last few seconds of this scene were pretty neat… Even if I felt embarrassed for the actors the entire time.
This scene confirms why I don’t watch heroes anymore: Horrible script, and horrible acting… But if they throw more shit like this in, I might start watching it again.

Dead Man’s Bones
You may know Ryan Gosling from the Notebook or various other movies… But he’s also a sick musician. A few months back his band, Dead Man’s Bones, posted a live version of “In The Room Where You Sleep” along with a music video. It was amazing and had people wanting more.
Their debut album came out on Tuesday, and so far after a few listens… This is the perfect autumn album. Every song is catchy and eery. I recommend going over to the band’s myspace and streaming a few of their tracks, then going out and picking up the CD. Dead Man’s Bones Myspace

This looks pretty sick… With the new batch of Blackberries set to come out within the next little while, it seems like a smart move to let a WHITE Blackberry Bold into the wild. I will be making the switch from iPhone to Blackberry in the next little while, and while I’ll be waiting for the next generation of phones… This makes me want a Bold now!

Imaginarium
The Imaginarium of Doctor Panassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a traveling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. This was Heath Ledgers final film before his untimely death, although he was unable to complete the filming Johnny Depp, Jude Law & Colin Farrell completed the movie. Looks really cool to be honest.

The Crazies
This looks really cool, it’s about a town where a mysterious toxin in the water supply turns everyone exposed to it into mindless killers and the authorities leave the uninfected to their certain doom in this terrifying reinvention of the George Romero horror classic. It also uses the Mad World song from Donnie Darko effectively in the trailer which is a plus.
